Shantou Toy Factories — Buy Direct, One Carton Minimum

Both prices are published on every product page. The per-carton price is what the factory charges; the per-unit price is that figure divided by the carton quantity. There is no hidden margin between the two, and no third number that appears at checkout.

Freight is calculated separately, on actual weight and volume, and shown before you pay.

And the conversion rate is a published formula, not an internal one. We convert at the official People's Bank of China rate plus 5%. Open the PBOC site, add five percent, and you have the exact rate your order is calculated at — fixed on the day you pay. Ask any other intermediary what rate they use and compare the answer.

Do you need a registered company? No. You can buy as an individual. On DDP shipments the freight forwarder acts as importer of record and clears customs. We don't ask for VAT numbers or incorporation documents.

What is the minimum order? One factory carton of one model. There is no minimum order value. Mix twenty different models, one carton each — that is a valid order.

Do you break cartons or send single samples? No. Opening a carton turns the remainder into dead stock and destroys the factory packaging your goods need to sell as new. Your test order is one carton — and unlike a single sample, a test carton sells afterwards.

What if the item is assorted? If the product page says "assorted" or "mix colors", you receive a sealed factory mix. Colours can't be chosen and the exact split isn't guaranteed — that's how line packing works. You know this before you order, not at unboxing.

The 100 kg rule. Competitive door-to-door DDP rates — the ones with customs clearance and duties already included — start strictly at 100 kg. Below it, your shipment is billed at a small-consignment rate, two to three times the base, or simply rounded up to 100 kg.

So we give you 30 days of free consolidation at our warehouse in China. Add the items you need, build the shipment to an efficient weight, and ship it all at the proper rate. Rates are calculated live in the cart for your exact weight and volume.

In the international toy trade, compliance is your ticket to the market. So here we tell you the inconvenient truth instead of the convenient one. We will not promise a CE certificate for an unbranded low-cost toy — that promise falls apart at your first shop inspection, and you pay for it, not us.

What you see before you buy. If a manufacturer holds valid testing — EN71 and CE for the EU, CPSIA and CPC for the US, TR CU for the EAEU — the product page carries a badge marked "certificates provided by the manufacturer", and we send the scanned lab report on request. If there is no badge, the factory makes that item for the Chinese domestic market without certification. We don't write "certificate pending" and we don't attach someone else's report.

How many items actually carry documents — the number, not an adjective. 25,572 catalogue items hold at least one valid certificate: REACH 17,648, EN71 14,250, CPSIA 12,940, ASTM F963 12,768, CE 9,401, CPC 9,185, UKCA 3,419, RoHS 2,367. An item can hold several at once, so the figures overlap.

What ships with every consignment: commercial invoice and packing list. Manufacturer test reports on request, for the items that carry a badge.

Customs — two clean routes. On DDP shipments the forwarder handles Chinese export clearance, freight, clearance in your country and all duties. If you clear customs yourself, we provide official export from the Chinese side — and if the factory holds no export licence, we or our licensed partners act as Exporter of Record and file the declaration.

In China. Every consignment is visually inspected at our Guangzhou warehouse before loading: article numbers, contents, colours, quantity per carton, packaging condition. Wrong items are turned back on the spot — you don't pay international freight for someone else's mistake.

In transit. Cargo insurance is available on request and typically costs 1–3% of invoice value. If an insured shipment is damaged, we draft the claim against the carrier, file it, and follow it to payout.

On arrival. File within 3 days for wrong items or transit damage, within 7 days for a latent factory defect, with a continuous unboxing video. Production defects resolve in 7–14 working days, transit claims in 15–30. You are compensated by account credit or by free replacement in your next shipment.

If a factory refuses to acknowledge a defect, we stop working with that factory and pay your compensation from our own reserve fund. Our dispute with a supplier is our problem, not yours.
